Wanderlust with a "Wau" factor

Our tips for hiking with your dog

We’ve put together a list of our favourite dog-friendly hikes in South Tyrol for you: from leisurely strolls along the Waalwege trails to scenic mountain hikes with the thrill of reaching the summit. The list includes trails for little paws, big adventures, and plenty of breaks to sniff around.

A walking holiday with dogs is especially lovely in the spring and autumn: the hiking trails are pleasantly quiet, many attractions and towns can be explored at a leisurely pace, and the temperatures are ideal for outings with your furry friend. Even in winter, snow-covered trails, crisp mountain air, and unforgettable adventures together await you during a walking holiday with your dog.
