Our lovingly tended natural garden is allowed to grow, bloom, and thrive. Amid the fruit trees, vegetables, herbs, and countless colourful flowers, there are many cosy nooks - places to read, relax, daydream, or simply sit and take in the view. At the heart of it all is our natural swimming pond.
Your dogs will also enjoy the many shady and quiet spots in the garden.
A garden is never finished. It changes with the seasons, and that's exactly what makes it so special.
Our natural swimming pond
Clear water and unspoiled nature. Our natural swimming pond blends harmoniously into the garden and invites you to cool off on warm days. Afterward, it’s time to sit back, sink into a lounge chair, and let your gaze wander over the garden and the apple orchards. There’s a separate area in the natural swimming pond just for your dog, so your four-legged friend can also cool off to his heart’s content.
A natural garden takes time and patience
Our natural garden has already won several awards in the Lagundo Tourism Association’s natural garden competition, and we’re very proud of that. There’s a constant buzz and flutter among the countless plants, and every season brings new colors and scents.
We give nature space and create habitats for many little helpers. Flowers, herbs, and plants provide food for insects and bring diversity to our garden.
From the garden to the preserving jar
Nonno Pietro puts a lot of love and care into our vegetable and herb garden. He tends to tomatoes, cucumbers, bell peppers, carrots, and much more that grows in the farm garden depending on the season. Among them, marigolds and nasturtiums bloom, and many fragrant and aromatic herbs grow.
You can enjoy whatever is growing and thriving in our garden fresh, depending on the season: some of it is available for you to help yourself to for free in the cellar, while Laura turns other produce into homemade delicacies for our farm shop. You’re also welcome to help yourself to our herbs anytime.
