Dog services at the Gapphof
Amenities and extras for your holiday with your dog
Let’s be honest: a great holiday with your dog starts when you have as little to worry about as possible. That’s exactly why the Gapphof in Lagundo incorporates a wealth of dog-related experience into so many details, big and small.
Thanks to our dog Luma, we know from personal experience what matters most to dog owners. Feel free to reach out to us anytime - we’re happy to help with personalised tips, recommendations, or a solution that works for you.
A dog bed, food and water bowls, mats for the bowls, a dog blanket, towels, poop bags, and dog toys are already waiting for you in your holiday rental. This high-quality dog gear is complemented by dog hiking backpacks with a dog mat, shoulder bags, a portable water bowl, a dog carrier bag, or a dog carrier backpack - mostly from our partner Palopa.
The breakfast box sometimes includes a little treat for your four-legged friend. You’ll also find high-quality food and treats from our partners PetAlpin and BARF Südtirol in our farm store.
Toys are available in your holiday rental and in the courtyard. That way, you don't have to pack half your trunk with toys, and you can still head off on holiday fully equipped.
Your furry friends can look forward to plenty of extras: in addition to the basic amenities in the holiday rental, there’s a fenced-in dog park with an agility course, a natural swimming pond where your dogs are also allowed to swim, a large garden with quiet areas, and a walking path right outside the front door that winds through our own organic apple orchard.
Want to share in the joy of success? You can book personalised dog training sessions with us. Choose from:
- Minddog® training to promote balance and concentration, and
- training for species-appropriate activities using simulated hunting techniques
You’ll be guided by experienced dog trainers from South Tyrol. Group training sessions are offered at regular intervals right at the Gapphof. Individual training sessions are available upon request. Please feel free to ask us about this before your arrival or directly on-site.
Holidays with dogs are our passion. That’s why we work with select partners who share our values and enhance your holiday:
- High-quality dog gear from Palopa
- Dog food from South Tyrol: BARF meat made to order and BARF South Tyrol food rolls. PetAlpin dog food is available at the farm store.
- Collaboration with dog trainers Katrin Fischer (Dogs & Catch) and Lisa Holzner (TeamHund)
- Partnership with the “Meran Team Vet” veterinary clinic
- Collaboration with physical therapist Dunja Gamper from PET Physio Therapy
