Stroll through the traditional Christmas markets in the Merano region, warm up with a hot drink, and enjoy the festive atmosphere amid historic alleyways and snow-capped mountain peaks. You can reach the famous Christmas market in Merano in just a short time by bus, while the enchanting Lagundo Christmas market, with its cozy atmosphere, is within walking distance.
While sunny trails in the valley, such as the Algunder Waalweg, are often free of snow and perfect for a stroll, the higher elevations offer fantastic winter hikes through snow-covered landscapes. Just right for anyone who prefers to enjoy winter at their own pace.
